Hailing from the vibrant cities of Sydney and Uruguay, Jaime Jesus and Mary Grace are world-renowned international artists with a rich legacy spanning over two decades.
As experts in Salsa and Bachata, they are celebrated for their infectious energy, technical prowess, and captivating performances that blend skill with sheer joy.
Their incredible workshops inspire dancers of all levels, leaving a lasting impact wherever they go.
With over 12 global recognitions across 10 different countries, Jaime Jesus and Mary Grace have made indelible contributions to the world of Latin dance, earning them a revered place among dance enthusiasts worldwide.
Pablo:
From Santiago, Chile, Pablo has been settled in the sunny city of Nelson for the past 6 years. He is the director of NelsonSon Dance & Entertainment, where he shares his passion and knowledge for Afro-Latin and Caribbean dance styles with the community. As an instructor, he has enjoyed being part of a dance festivals around the country including the NZ Salsa Congress held in Wellington, Salsa Tumbao in Auckland, Hanmer Springs Salsa festival and The Drum Festival in Christchurch. Pablos classes are easy going and inclusive, offering something for everyone! He looks forward to sharing his love for Casino Cuban Salsa with you all on the dance floor at Hanmer this year. Let’s get back to the roots and have fun together !!
Saione:
Saione (aka Mr. Viva!) is the Director of Viva Dance Studios in Auckland. Saione has had the pleasure of teaching thousands of people to dance over the past 20+ years, sharing his passion across various styles including Modern Jive, Hip Hop, Line Dance, Zouk, Kizomba, Bachata, and of course, Salsa! Known for his lively energy and the ability to bring people together through dance, Saione brings the fun to every class. When he’s not on the dance floor, he’s busy organizing some of New Zealand’s top Latin events, including the Latin Fiesta cultural festivals, the Grand Auckland Salsa Ball, NZ Latin Dance Championships, and NZ Salsa Congress. Join him for a lively, feel-good Party Dances workshop and get ready to move, laugh, and groove!
