Hanmer Springs Village is located in the South Island of New Zealand, and is a 90minute drive from Christchurch and Christchurch's international airport.You will travel through the rolling hills of wine region, the rugged coastal route or over the beautiful and scenic mountain pass if coming from the West Coast to reach the jewel of Hanmer Springs.

Traveling to Hanmer

We recommend catching a bus or driving, with an average 1.5 to 2hr drive. If you want to save a little and have more fun & make some friends, try car pooling, join out facebook group "above" and mention you would like to car pool with others or offer car pooling.
