Workshop Descriptions:

Take dance classes before the event to maximise workshop benefits.

• Salsa Romantica On1: A flowing style of Salsa suitable for both On1 and On2.

• Bachata Sensual: Known for its body rolls, waves, head rolls, and fluid movements, originating in Spain.

• Party Animation Dances: Life beyond the Macarena, fun follow-me dances.

• Mambo Conversion: Learn about Salsa music and timing, essential for dancing Mambo (Salsa On2).

• Bachata Dominicana: Intricate footwork and partnerwork, originating in the Caribbean but popular worldwide.

• Salsa Cubana: Cuban style Salsa On1, learning Afro movements and flavours from the Caribbean.

• Salsa Cubana / Rueda: Cuban dance style done in group within a Wheel. We recommend doing the first Salsa Cubana workshop before attending this one

• Musicality Structure: Learn about the music and how to move to it.

• Mambo Social Partnerwork: Recommended for those who have completed the Mambo Conversion workshop or are experienced in Salsa On2.

Workshop Levels:

We recommend to take dance classes prior to the event to get the most out of the workshops.

• Beginner Level

For new beginners that have never danced up to 2 months of learning. (Note: No classes at this level) We highly recommend you have completed a beginner course in your local area at bare minimum for workshops at this event, but its not a requirement.

• Open Level

For "any level" This content isn't level based so all levels may do this workshop. But Not ideal for absolute beginners
• Intermediate Level 

Suitable for those that have been learning more than 2-3 months and are comfortable with their fundamentals in this dance style this also includes Improver levels.

• Intermediate - Adv Level

Mixture of Intermediate & more Advanced Level content, recommend to be dancing more than 8 months

Workshop Info:

- Workshops/Classes will be starting on time and finishing 5mins early to allow for students to video the content. So be early warmed up ready to go.

- No lunch planned breaks, this is up to dancers to choose to where to put your breaks & eat etc. You may choose to snack in the 15min breaks instead!
 

Dance Parties
Time: 9:00pm - 12am

Dance the night away.  Great dance floor, great sound system, be prepared for one of the largest, most fun, relaxed & best Salsa nights for the year.

DJ's playing the latest & greatest Salsa, Bachata, some Kizomba & Cha, Merengue and more.
There is also Workshop prior to the party for all levels. This is a great way to join in just before the party and mingle, meet new people and learn to dance. Come make a night of it. Also during the parties there will be Dance Animations, another great way to bring some fun into the evening.

Dance Animations:

Dance Animations with Jaime & Mary: 

During the party, usually about midway 2-4 songs of 'follow me' fun style party dances, a little like Zumba, but with more of a solo dance focus sometimes partner-work but with a huge fun party atmosphere. See video below for previous examples.

Entry Conditions

• Full Workshop Entry Info
For the very first workshop you do please come extra early so you get your wrist band as there is normally a line up. You can see what time doors open on the timetable page >
. If you have full pass, make sure you turn up to the venue at least 5-15mins early so you can guarantee priority entry to any workshop. So in other words turn up early if you have a Full pass, so you can make sure you gain entry to a workshop because your slot might be given to someone else who doesn't have a Full pass. You could be turned away if you are late to any workshop with no refund due to maximum capacity.

• Casual Workshop Entry Info

If you don't have a full pass, you may not be able to gain access to all workshops, however, If there is space 5mins before class starts, spaces will be given to any casual entry dancers that can pay cash on the day if there is space ....see pricing info >

• Party Entry Info

You are welcome to come anytime during the night, there is a set limit on numbers for parties at this stage as the capacity is larger because we use the whole venue rather than just the main hall. But Those with Passes will have right of way. If we reach capacity you might be refused entry until numbers are lower.
